on the meeting of the Executive Board of E.S.PKU
and the Organising Committee of the Slovenian PKU-Society
for the 2004 Annual E.S.PKU Meeting in Bled
on Saturday, March 20th 2004, at 17:30
Preparation of the Annual E.S.PKU Meeting 2004
Participants:
§ Executive Board of E.S.PKU (except president Jean-Marie Criem)
§ Prof. Dr. Kurt Baerlocher (Chairman of the SAC of E.S.PKU)
§ Organising committee of Slovenian PKU-Society for the 2004 Annual
E.S.PKU-Meeting.
Tobias Hagedorn opened the meeting and congratulated the Slovenian Organising
Committee for the choice of the hotel.
1. Apologies for absence
Mr. Jean-Marie Criem (President of E.S.PKU) apologized via mobile-phone for
his absence due to the delay of his airplane.
2. Finances
As it was possible to shorten down the program and the meeting from 3 to 2
overnight-stays, the costs will not exceed the amount of 300,00 € / Person at
least.
3. Publicising
The announcement and invitation to the meeting will be made by coordinated
publication in the E.S.PKU-News and the website (deadline for the regarding
files is fixed May 15th 2003).
The personal invitations to the delegates of the member-associations will be
mailed out in advance, at latest at early June 2004.
There will be an internet-website about the meeting, edited by the Slovenian
PKU-Society, linked to the E.S.PKU-website.The Invitation will contain beside
program and registration form some advices regarding travelling. The deadline
for registration will be approximately during August 2004.
4. Technical appointments
The arrangement of booking and payment will be sourced out to Albatros
Agency, which costs about 10,00 € each participant (included in the registration
fee).
This Albatros Agency will also ensure a permanent assist by at least one
employer, who will run the meeting-centre and registration-desk.
As it is a delegates meeting and not a family-meeting, childcare will not be
arranged by the local organisers. It is left over to the responsibility of the
participants.
5. Industrial Exhibition
The Industrial Exhibition will take place in the Hotel-Lobby, which is
obviously spacy enough.
It will officially be opened by the E.S.PKU-Board on Friday, October 29th at
14:00, and closed at Saturday, October 31st after coffee-break.
The price for one stand module of 6 sqm will be as advised in the E.S.PKU
Handbook. Secretary Tobias Hagedorn will take care for invitation of firms that
are not listed in the handbook, but took part at previous meetings (for example
Vitaflo, U.K.) (Copies will be mailed to the local organisers).
6. Program
The program has been revised by the participants of the meeting. Changing and
Additions are marked in the enclosed preliminary schedule.
The invitation of any speakers is up to the Slovenian Society as local
organiser. Support will be provided especially by Prof. Baerlocher as Chairman
of the SAC of E.S.PKU.
7. Social Program
There will be guided tours to the beautiful surroundings, especially on
Sunday morning.
The local organisers are preparing a "Final Dinner" with some entertainment.
