Venue	Bled, Slovenia Hotel Kompas (**) with 70 Rooms and the facilities for the meetings Hotel Golf (**) nearby 40 Rooms The meeting itself will be in hotel Kompas, which offers a Room for 145 Persons, and 3 lecture Rooms for 30 to 70 Persons.

"Preparational weekend" with E.S.PKU Board in March, 19th-21th 2004

We hosted the executive board of E.S.PKU on the "preparational weekend" of the Annual E.S.PKU Meeting 2004. On the meeting we settled all the details about the conference (see the minutes of the meeting). Slovenian organizing comitte will prepare the invitation and registration form until the end of May. It will be published in E.S.PKU News, as well as the presentation of the Slovenian PKU Society.

The weekend was complemented by the social programme, sightseeing trip to the castle of Bled and the dinner in the traditional slovenian counry-inn Lectar (see the Photo gallery).

We all are very optimistic about the Annual E.S.PKU Meeting this year, and we hope that everything will work fine. We'll do our best.

In shops, restaurants, etc. they generally don't accept Euros (€). It's useful to have some Slovene Tolars just in case. Exchange offices are on Airport, Hotels, banks, ...
Credit cards are accepted almost everywhere. Even in grocer's shops.
Debet cards (i.e. Maestro) are also accepted everywhere. There are a lot of "bankomats" (Cash Machines) for cash withdrawing.
